Sarahs house warming party 5/31/14

One of my fellow employees just recently moved into a house.  I think she just used the house as an excuse to have a party!  Anyway she has a beautiful home and awesome fur kids!!  It was nice chatting with her family and celebrating with them!!

Ladys night 5/29/14

I can never pass up a lady's night especially with these beautiful lady's!  We ended up at 513 for beers and shots!!  Love these girls!

Memorial Weekend Day 5/26/14

My first time in our pool!

Summer has arrived.  Memorial Day was spent at our house since we have the pool.  We invited friends over for a day of fun in the sun!!  Everyone brought a food item to share and Stephen and Sean grilled steaks and chicken on the grill.  We had grilled cabbage, corn on the cob, salads galore and some wonderful desserts!! I think Im going to have to go on a diet!!  So ready for summer!!

Sunday Bloody Mary Day!! 5/25/14

Stephen and I met our friends Barbie and Debbie at The Track Lounge for some fantastic Bloody Mary's.  The bartender hands you the glass of the mix and vodka and you get to add all your other ingredients-cheeses, pickles, olives, sausage, celery, peppers, ect..  The list goes on and on and on!  It was nice once again seeing some old friends while enjoying a refreshing cocktail!!

Bonfire fun 5/24/14

One night, Stephen and I just decided to have some people over...we had a blast playing bags, roasting marshmallows over the bon fire and indulging in a little Honey Jack!!  Stephen and Sarah even busted a move to a radio song!!

It was so good seeing old friends and making new ones!  

Quarter size hail 5/21/14

What a crazy night.  We haven't been in IN for that long and we have a night filled with constant lightening and quarter size hail.  Since we were still unpacking, we were not able to get the cars in the garage.  The Explorer received 80 dents, $3000.00 later and a week to fix.  Ugh.  My car had a few on the roof but the sun reversed them.

Unpacking 5/4/14

I think our CT to Chicago drive took us about 20hrs with a brief stop at Niagara Falls, potty breaks, driver changes and a 2-3hr nap in a rest stop. When we arrived we unloaded our trailer and started cleaning the house. The carpets in the whole house had already been stretched and cleaned and a new roof was in the process of being put on and our air conditioner was professional leveled with a new pad installed ! Our belonging arrived on 5/4/14 earlier then expected! We purchase a 4 level split home which was In pretty good condition-just needs a little TLC, paint and updating!!! The packers had the truck unloaded in about 8 hours! Simply amazing! My mother, father and I spent the next 4 days unpacking, lifting, putting, fixing, cleaning everything in the house! Our IN realtor Kathy new of this local handyman named Sean. Sean has helped us get the deck fixed, rip out over grown trees and bushes, open and get our pool running. He has been a fabulous help. The first couple of days it was so hot, we had to turn on the air...but a week later, its so cold, we turned the heat on. Glad to be back close to family and friends!!
